Bolivia: Entry portals - concept sketch

Marking the entry points to the town, two large portals were designed and have now been built. They combine traditional stone and adobe walls with steel towers and trusses - junked leftovers from a former mine - used as structure. The trusses bridging between the towers flanking the road serve as a platform for sculptures.
